THE INTERVIEW - PART 2

By Dr. Jack Wolley, Staff Writer

Employee X sits down with Dr. Jack Wolley for PART 2 of the inside scope on where he is now, what is happening, and upcoming media events.  Check back for live online chats!  Dr. Wolley: What happened? Employee X: A lot.  Read my EEOC complaint for the details.  Basically, I complained about discrimination involving fellow employees and former coworkers and was retaliated against for doing it.  Right after I received a promotion for my performance in May 2017, I sent an email with my complaint that same month, and in June 2017 was given 1.) an inaccurate negative annual performance review, 2.) HR and management gave me an invalid ‘entension of my Iintroductory period’ with the wrong start date (Jack Note: also after his introductory period expired), and 3.) numerous other retaliation that still continues. I got sick of the retaliation being ignored, so I complainted to the EEOC and starting this media campaign to raise awareness.  It’s not just about me, but others who encounter this and are ignored - Other that don’t have a means to pubicly complain like this.   Dr. Wolley: What’s next? Employee X: The conclusion of the EEOC report will be posted here once it is received.  Regardless of the report, and whatever happens next, this ‘Yellow Jack’ will remain.  A ‘Yellow Jack’ was a yellow flag used by mariners to identify a quarantine ship.  Basically, a ship carrying a disease, and this ship is sick.  A “sick ship”*.  The handling of the discrimination complaint, numerous retaliation, and hostile work environment were far beyond the pale.  I don’t forgive this sort of thing, and I don’t forget it either.  I have a personality similar to that of the honey badger, and will keep this flag waving until it is no longer a sick ship. Strange as it may sound, my ancestors have historically fought for human rights.  My distant grandfather, who was featured recently in an off-Broadway play, married a ‘woman of color’ who he treated as an equal, was governor of a Caribbean location, and was called back to England for not allowing the English theft of mahogany rich land from the native people.  He was the last man publicly ‘drawn and quartered’ in England actually.  He also sailed the Spanish Main and was close friends with Horatio Nelson, which explains my interest in the sea.  A distant aunt helped initiate woman’s rights (sufferage) in England and traveled to meet Mahatma Gandhi to discuss his ‘theory of passive resistance’.  We all share the same last name, interest in human rights, and commitment to doing what’s right to protect others.  Both of these stories are documented elsewhere, including Wikipedia, just so I don’t sound crazy.  I seldom share this with people. Dr. Wolley: How can people help? Employee X: Get involved!  Things aren’t going to change without involvement.  It’s sort of sad that more people aren’t aware of the situation in the US, and around the world.  The tone from the top isn’t helping, and I only see things getting worse.  If you are truely an american, an american first, then you would help fight for the rights of others.  We are all minorities, in one way or another, and it isn’t this that we should focus on.  When we focus on our countless differences, we are distracted from evil things happening right in front of us.  I encourage anyone who agrees to help - show up at one of our upcoming rallies and post one of our free downloadable pages to a cork board around your dorm, campus or workplace.  Show solidarity, and unity.  More NEW CONTENT coming October 7, 2017!
